This new classroom block was designed to accommodate three classrooms, breakout spaces, Kitchen, external toilets, teachers work room, learning support co-ordinator and covered area. The structure allows for flexible open plan spaces which open onto a large covered area that leads to the outdoor learning spaces. The outdoor areas are screened with vertical louvers to provide shelter but also for a visual connection to the school grounds beyond. The architecture brief was for simplicity and to reference the current school buildings.
