These two new classrooms blocks are organised with access to flexible open plan shared spaces and separate small group teaching areas. The large open spaces allow shared/flexible areas to enhance teacher supervision and create a light and spacious interior. The building form is a simple design and construction technique with large eaves to shade the strong summer sun and high level clerestory windows allowing good cross ventilation. The classroom spaces open onto a generous veranda which leads out to the playground and outdoor learning spaces. A varied palette of colours and textures have been used inside to create a playful and exciting learning environment.
